Each June we present our Cajun & Creole Summer Camp for Kids at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, Louisiana.

It's a super week of intensive instruction on guitar, accordion and fiddle; French singing; dance classes and other cultural workshops; a fun field trip and more –- all featuring an all-star slate of instructors and guest artists. Past instructors have included Kristi Guillory, Brazos Huval, Courtney Granger, Yvette Landry, Corey Ledet, Chris Segura, Dave Trainer, Mitch Reed, Henry Hample and many others.

The week culminates in exciting performances by camper bands and a graduation ceremony complete with a camper/family dance featuring a well-known band like the Grammy-nominated Lost Bayou Ramblers.

It all takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the Acadiana Center for the Arts at 101 W. Vermilion St. in downtown Lafayette. Campers provide their own instruments and their own lunches.
