Jam des Amis

Our newly-formatted Super Jam des Amis will be held on December 8, 2012; March 9, 2013; June 8, 2013; and September 14, 2013, in the beautiful Moncus Theatre at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette. These informal, acoustic, open-to-the-public Cajun and Creole music jam sessions are held in conjunction with downtown Lafayette's ArtWalk and are hosted by various local musicians. Players of all levels are welcome, and folks who don't play an instrument are welcome to drop by and enjoy the music and good times.

Saturday, September 8, 2012 with host Anya Burgess

6-8 p.m. at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette   

Our jam will feature as host the incomparable fiddler/vocalist Anya Burgess of Bonsoir, Catin and The Magnolia Sisters! 

 Anya's a treasure chest of talent and great tunes and she's ready to share it all with you. Players of all levels are welcome, so come on down to the AcA and get in on the good times! We've got some great loaner instruments available, and as always, those folks who don't play an instrument are welcome to stop by and enjoy the music.
